@magikman38 lol technically... a 7 lol i was just braggin bout my shot no disrespect to u

@QuotaPBaby I'm scratch myself. Technically +.7 but I don't understand are you disagreeing? A giant fade around trees is hardly the same as a two finger fade into a green from the fairway.

@magikman38 im scratch thx for the tip i just worked a 212 yard 3 wood around the trees i usually hit my 3 wood 250 .. it was marvalous ... pro from inglewood!!!

You are saying because he is Tiger it makes it less impressive? Im saying 90 percent would go long because they dont have that shot. anyone can hit the shot Ernie hit. He fades the ball aiming at the center of the green but it fades in the air. where you aim doesnt mean thats the ground its covering. so that isnt increasing the amount of green to work with. shaping a ball lowers your mistakes. It would increase room to work with if the green was diagonal to the player but not here

we are not talking about 90% of other players, and we are not talking about armatures. you contradict yourself as well. if he fades "15 max" then that proves me correct. if he hit at the center of the green, with a fade, it would pitch exactly where it did. I never said tigers shot was conservative, I said els is a conservative player and looking back at some tiger shots in his youth (20s) then I still dont think its deserving of 1st place on the top 5 list.

hitting a fade does NOT increase amount of green to work with. for that to be true he would hit a straight ball to the left side of the green then the ball would take a 90 degree right hand turn lol. His fade with an 8 iron might move 15 max. That wont increase amount of green to work with. And it is relevant. 90% of players hitting that shot would have been long of the pin because its so tight to the water. & how was it a more agressive line? 6" from the cup is a crazy "conservative" line

Tiger hit at the open part of the green, with fade, and it spun towards the hole. so, saying he had little green to work with is irrelevant. also, Im not sure what kind of lie Els had. didn't look like he was standing perfectly level. he may have even been just off the fairway in the short cut. he, in fact hit the small part of the green, much more aggressive line. its just a personal thing, I thought it was a better shot, from a generally safe player. not "spectacular" from Tiger.
#3 was awesome!
