jf's have no blower right? so do they blow as well as other pull type harvesters?

Yes, they actually blow harder in many conditions. The cutterhead is just like a blower anyways, so it makes no sense to stop the feed and then restart it again. Have you ever seen one work?

why don`t you guys use a claas jaguar or something like it

Simple math is the reason. A JF costs 20% what a self-propelled does and it has near-equal capacity. JF's have a fraction of the moving parts so they have a much longer life expectancy and lower maintenance costs. Another Big factor is that they take less power to achieve the same capacity so fuel cost per ton is far less than any other machine in the world..

i see the point of the price but the capacity is way less than with a big self-propelled but it has his plus points you are right with that

Capacity is not way less than a big self-propelled chopper. We have many 10-20,000 head feedlots in Western Canada using JF's instead of SP's. They chop nearly the same amount of silage with half the horsepower. Example- 400hp on a JF is a good match with a 800hp SP. Depreciation is way less, fuel consumption is way less & maintenance is a fraction.
