How come it says 700KW ute at the start but on the dyno it only gets 787 HP?

Doesn't 700KW = 938HP??

Please explain...

The dyno reads 707hp, the reading is at the wheels, 700kw is talking about the engine power. hp at the wheels is aprox the kw at the engine.

pretty sure ur meant to strap the car to the dyno not just chock the front wheels lol but fuckin mean ute man

There are 2 heavy, tight straps holding Ute to Dyno, car moves forward because the amount of torque crushes the tyre and and lets car move forward.

@TVRnGTR- the falcons are powered by 32v modular motors or turbo inline sixes. The mod motor is definitely american, I'm not familiar enough with the 6 to tell where it comes from.  Globally we need to all have V8s and turobs =)

TVRnGTR. I love that you say the holdens beat anything the US makes. The motor in the holdens and utes comes from the US! Our cars have the same LS series motors you do!
