Crossing the Carson River

Bo and I cross the Carson River on the High Desert Endurance ride. We had to ride up it a ways, rather than just cross over so it took awhile to get through it. Some years it is higher than others - this year a storm the week before caused it to rise. You have to be careful about where you go because the sand is really soft in places and your horse can really sink in the stuff. Bo wore Renegade strap ons both days of the ride and they stayed on 100% of the time with zero issues whatsoever - what an impressive testimonials for those boots!
