This is my first real YouTube video. Thought it was about time to start to upload to the people on the internet. Check out some of the people I mentioned in this video for some interesting views on Japan.

This is one of my own personal tricks to studying Japanese when commuting, I find that I can actually learn more than a few Kanji every week when I am on my way to work and back home again. Good luck in finding your own style for learning the language!

I strongly suggest you to check out Tofugu's channel here: http://www.youtube.com/user/tofugu

He has one of the most informative channels that I have found for beginner's that want to learn Japanese. He mentions his Textfugu book in many of his videos as well, along with the Textfugu website which is another outlet that people can learn Japanese from or get reference points to start studying.

  • Your voice sounds like a mixture between Matthew Broderick & Pauly Shore :)

  • @Frizz90 haha cool! I will definitely take that as a compliment =) Thanks!

  • Hey Kurume. Did you ever try minna no nihongo books? you can buy the series in train stations like osaka . Minna no nihongo has conversation, grammar, and kanji books. They are pretty good series i must say for learning japanese. and a lot of universities use them to teach japanese - they are offered in english (for engilsh users) as well as chinese and thai i believe. so not bad;).

  • @TheCanadaMissy Hey that sounds cool, thanks for letting me know =)

  • Flashcards you say? you should try out Anki . Give it a google search, its a smart electronic flashcard deck you run on your comp in case you didn't know about it already. strongly suggest giving it a try.

    peace.

  • @SkeenBot5000 Thanks for the tip =)
