I met Shane in SF at a Red Bull event. Got silly drunk and had a couple brownies.
Real nice guy.
I've been out of the ski loop for a while, and just found out he died last night. Very bummed.

He didn't die doing what he did best, he died what he loved doing, and truthfully i really think he passed away knowing that he accomplished something in life and that he is truly a hero to us all.
