I had an RDC in bootcamp who was an FC1 and loved it. He kept telling us that it was the best rate in the Navy and he kept making fun of us GMs. Lots of hard and VERY boring school and training though (ATT anyone?).
Uh, no, it was supposed to be a full launch and it seems like the air got out of the blowout valve. As far as soldier discipline, where are you from exactly malbanai?
Looked like a mk 46 or mk 50 exercise torpedo. They typically had enough pressure, there is a gauge right there, might have been a hole in the pressure line, or not connected right. FCs are an okay job, mostly they work in CIC, or on the CIWS, or Harpoon launchers and such. It's all in the type of work you want, really.
I'm going in as a FC in a couple months... do you know much about that job? or if you knew anyone who enjoyed it? I think it's going to rule, unless im stuck below deck most of the time...
