Oh, and one more thing. I'm glad that the conservatives have been completely discredited. The changes President Obama is making will be PERMANENT. Get used to a very, very different America.

well im not republican, but you are more than likely wrong, Democrats ruled in the 70s, but the Right took over in a landslide in the 80s and liberals became a bunch of extremist, now its flipped, conservatives are extremist and liberal is mainstream, 20 years it will be flippd once more, this cycle has happened over the last 100 years

Actually, Democrats didn't "rule" in the 70's. The Republicans held the White House 7 out of the 10 years in that decade.

What I meant is that the USA will be a very different country in the future because of what happened on Election Night. Like Social Security and Medicare, the changes being brought by President Obama will be permanent ones. Even when Republicans win again---in the distant future---they won't be able to get rid of what will be accomplished in the next eight years. Woo Hoo!
