when you drive close behind a big vehicle on a single lane road you dont really know whether its safe to overtake the bus coz you cant see much. If you honk a couple of times, the bus driver will make a hand signal when he thinks its safe for you to overtake.

I don't think this driver was crazy at all... all he's trying to do is pass the vehicles that are going too slow in a very safe manner with concern about oncoming traffic and is letting those pass him by who want to go faster...

He is not crazy, he is good!
I live in Stockholm Sweden and here are busdrivers running red lights because they think it's uncomfortable with fast stops (if it change to red too when they are close)
and they'r driving so slow that they are always delayed - i hate them.
