I'll never get Clapton's exact fingerpicking, but it's close. Save some wear and tear on your left hand and use a capo on the second fret. . .

  • Thank you friend for sharing this Beautiful song with us i didn't go to bed last night till i got it thanks to you !... I played it over and over and over . It's sad ...i have a 9 year old boy and I can't imagine how heart-broken his parents are... the loss and suffering over there son !

  • @tzonetube Thanks for the comment. Will never forget stumbling on his performance of this song on MTV during an unplugged concert. Truly heartbreaking. Am happy that my video helped you learn it!

  • i love this song but maybe not a very good song to pick to learn seeing as iv only just started learning guitar any suggestions for acoustic songs?

  • @jfkqwne That's a tough one, all I can offer is that I learned a lot from playing along with early Neil Young songs. Most of his are fairly simple and easy to listen to.

  • at 0.16 you should play a diminised chord instead of the g# major. formula: x04540

  • The A string is open for the first three chords and is played in a syncopated pattern between the A and D strings throughout...A D A D A D. Also, the last chord of the verse is normally played off the 2nd fret.

  • another perfect song from ec
