  • Hi, I really appreciate your videos and commentary...also have the Glass Line magazine..same issues as you show!!...very good magazine....I have another question if you don't mind..regards your setup being in the garage...(checked previous videos but cant find info on this)... Ventilation??..no car parked behind you??..We are moving soon and I am looking at NZD2500 for an outside shed/studio setup..Thanks Laurie

  • My glass shop is in a 3 car garage. Cars are on the left side. The one car section with it's own garage door is directly behind me. There is a side door about 4 feet to the right which you cannot see. That door is usually open and most of the time I have the big door open either partially or fully too. That is my ventilation system :-) However, when I make videos I shut the big door and partially close the small door because the sunlight messes up the video lighting.

  • Great video series. You have presented these basic skills very well, and have provided a lot of valuable information and instruction. Thanks for sharing your wealth of knowledge with the lampworking world.

  • You are welcome. Hopefully I will have many more to come. Thanks for the kind comments.

  • yup, its a great magazine, i'm subscribed

for 3 years now, and am very pleased.

too much colour in it, not enough clear glass,

but still a great source for technique and ideas.

thanks for the videos, they are great.

    you inspire me a lot.

the valves from STC just arrived, now i have to get the right fittings and i can install them.

    i will make a video.

  • I have been wondering if you received the parts yet. I think you will be happy with the outcome. Looking forward to the video!

  • G'day,

    Cheers,

    Dazza

  • Cant get it over here, :-( "UK"

  • There is another great mag that I subscribe to myself. it is called the flow magazine. It also is a great source for tutorials and great articles on flameworking. check it out . I also recieve Glassline and they are both a great payoff for the money,as well as a tremendous skill building tool.

  • I think you did a good job on this series. I think it would be cool if someone did a series on implosions on the dfferent types, like tube, or rod, and the ways you can do each, like I was reading on the metlingpot that one guy does his dot implosion marbles using the insideout method, so when you separate the tube from the implostion the separation ring is on the back of the implostion not the front.

  • even as a mainly offhand artist glass line is great for me. flow is also helpful!

  • right on. able to make a butterfly implosion pendant tutorial :P

sorry to add to the list
