ANDERSON TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WKRC) -- The search is on for the man who assaulted a Hamilton County sheriff's deputy. This is a story you'll see only on Local 12.Police say the deputy pulled the man over at a Speedway on State Route 32 near the Beechmont Levee at about 11 p.m. Wednesday night for having expired tags. The deputy then found that there was an arrest warrant out for the man. He also discovered drugs in the car.Police say at this point, the suspect punched and wrestled the deputy to the ground, and ran away into a wooded area. Deputies searched for about an hour and a half, but they weren't able to locate the man. The injured deputy is believed to just have minor injuries, and will be okay.
