@canukmark096 Thanks. Couldn't agree more with you! I should stop wasting my time trying to break things down for these guys, but I just can't stand the trolling.
At the end of the day, REAL football fans will watch football. To me, as long as it's played on a gridiron field; CFL, NFL, NCAA, UFL, AFL...you name it. I will watch it. I'm a fan of the sport...not a league. Which is more than we can say for our "troll friend"

@brunoxrs Dont waste your energy on this moron (mrfwest), aside from his inability to put together a proper sentence or correctly spell the names of half the players he writes about, he is knows nothing of how the game of football actually works. All he'll do is continue to regergitate his opinions with no facts to back them up. The fact is the majority of Americans have great respect for the CFL.

@brunoxrs doug flote got to pro bowl because of his team. they carried him. just like rex grossman. i can list lot of quarterbacks way better than him. ken Dorsey also carrie by his team and Cloe got his states because he played on bad teams
the players you list suck. the CFL average NCAA players go to the CFL and become starts because they are playing against even worst division 2 and Canadian players.
the BC lions couldn't beat Alabama or LSU. let alone the colt

@brunoxrs Let's not forget the Ricky Williams experiment, which while his stats did improve in the more wide open Canadian game, he averaged 4.8 yards/carry. Had he played the entire 18 game season, he was on track to end up with 1300 yards rushing...good enough to net him 3rd in the league that year. Even he stated that "the talent was comparable" to the NFL. He didn't say equal, but comparable. He stated the difference was consistency. HIS words, not mine.

@mrfwest You obviously don't actually know a thing about the Canadian Football League. Cleo Lemon was in the CFL for a year and a half, and never really adjusted to the game. Ken Dorsey (an NCAA star) never took a snap in the CFL. He was cut in training camp. Doug Flutie was an all-star player in the CFL, became a Pro-bowl player in the NFL, and would very likely have won the superbowl with Buffalo, had they not benched him in the playoffs.

Cleo Lemon- sucked, he was in the nfl for 5 years and played 8 games ( 8 out of 128 )
Ken Dorsey - sucked, 3yrs played 13 games out of 48 (lost 11 out of 13 )
Doug Flutie - was a normal QB. not great, not bad.
its fact. look at all those " all-star " cfl players that tried out in the nfl. they were 1st cut.

@mrfwest funny...players that have played in both leagues don't seem to say that. They all state the game is very different, and require different kinds of players. I guess i should take your subjective (incredibly biased) opinion over the word of those have have played pro football both north and south of the border. I apologize, you are right. Cam Wake, Doug Flutie, Cleo Lemon, Ken Dorsey and many others don't know nearly as much about football as you do.

@brunoxrs facts.. the CFL is made up of underfed ncaa division 1 & 2 schools. the sec is made up of the bet schools in america.
cam newton (rookie ) would be the best player in the cfl if he went. cfl maybe the 2nd best in the world but its way way WAY behind the nfl.

I am a huge fan of both leagues (Go Eskis, Go Cowboys). Athletically the CFL is just as good as the NFL, the difference is that the average NFL player is taller and weighs more while maintaining the same athleticism. This is why the CFL is much more of a north/south game. The CFL is a fun and exciting product, but the fact is bigger money will bring bigger talent, and the majority of American players in the CFL went undrafted or knew they wouldnt be drafted in the NFL.
