@juicyj267 Pretty much a big hassle. It takes at least 1+ year to own a firearm. In that year you can only shoot guns at the local gun club. You can not carry it or even use it for self defense. Not even if a burglar is robbing your house. As a law abiding citizen it sucks. On the other hand: I'm glad that not every nut job can get his hands on a gun here: we've had 2 big shootings in 25 yrs and other that only criminals seem to kill each other (hardly any incidents with regular folks).

@f0xmuld3r Ill have to check that out, while I was at the gun store I got the HK bug and bought a HK USC and I fully intend to convert it to the HK UMP!! What is the process of buying firearms in the netherlands, if you dont mind me asking, is it a hassle?
