Mardi Gras is the one holiday that's probably more important than any other holiday. (At least to the city of New Orleans...)
I was all over Mardi Gras this year, and I loved every second of it!! It helps that most of the parades pass near my apartment, too.
I threw in footage from a few different parades, plus I got some footage from the madness of Mardi Gras day in the French Quarter.
This years Mardi Gras was definitely the best one, yet!
Next week, I may post a slideshow of the retarded pictures that my friends and I took.

I liked the Marching Clubs. The first one was the Lyons Carnival Club and the second was the Corner Club. Too bad you guys didn't see the Jefferson City Buzzards.

poodleperson25 new Orleans has become famous for it...its a big deal b/c there is no other possible Mardi Gras experience like that of being in New orleans the atnosphere and culture are amazing...im biased b/c im a native of New Orleans but just ask anyone whose been to an N.O mardi gras and then went to one elsewhere and see what they say...Let the good times roll

I was there for Mardi Gras 07 and it was the best fun of my life....the atmosphere is freakin amazing you cant explain it only experience it...

I love how in New Orleans during the month of February (and sometimes part of March) a parade can spontaneuosly erupt on your street at 8am in the morning. I also love the Jesus at 7:15 of this vid. HAPPY MARDI GRAS EVERYBODY!

all of the footage was shot on Magazine, Napoleon and St. Charles. so yeah...st. charles is in there in the middle somewhere..
