Q & A - 08/11/2010 -

Guess What? The second this video finished uploading I received a friend invite from Michael Johns, a leader of the TEA party movement.
http://www.youtube.com/user/MichaelJohnsBlog
The invite was far too fast to be human-initiated (despite being highly unlikely). Clearly Michael Johns has employed a YouTube bot to enlist friends and spread awareness of his YouTube channel. I wonder how much that costs?

The panel (left to right):
Jonathan Biggins - Actor and political satirist
Bill Shorten - Assistant Treasurer
Janet Albrechtsen - Columnist and commentator
Randa Abdel-Fattah - Lawyer and author
George Brandis - Shadow Attorney General

  • Janet Albrechtsen and George Brandis tell it like it is on "our" leftist ABC which is currently enjoying its 2+ month holiday.

Quality taxpayer funded journalism requires a long break. *sarcasm*

The difference between the TEA Party and left-wing groups is the tea party actually understand the meaning of "peaceful" protest. Leftists are always the ones rioting and getting arrested.

  • @Baadger

"..the tea party actually understand the meaning of "peaceful" protest."

    Yeah, sure they do:

    goo (dot) gl/KSz9i <-- Wikipedia

    goo (dot) gl/H6L5B

    goo (dot) gl/umXu

    goo (dot) gl/cuNQq

goo (dot) gl/cDaGw <-- Worst headline ever :)

goo (dot) gl/QIUZ <-- The racist image is being held by the founder of TeaParty website

  • @trudyandgeorge hahaha that first line in that wikipedia one sums it all up really. Then you look at their sources, and they're all leftist papers. Brilliant.

Sure, there are a few nuts in every group, as shown in your links. Doesn't matter though, leftists groups always cause more trouble, this is common knowledge. :)

  • @Baadger That's about as true as this statement: "All conservatives are driven by greed and xenophobia"

  • @patogiannis49 And liberals are known for their incredible hypocrisy. They are the first people to move out of an ethnically diverse city while preaching about how good diversity is. And for business, they are the first ones to call for higher taxes, but will take every option to avoid paying them.

  • Oh God, she recons Teabaggers are "liberals" now... their radical right-wing libertarians and plain confused lunatics.

  • Republicans are closet racists. The Tea Party are out of the closet. Just look at their posters. This is all a Murdoch scam for ratings. Wake up people.

  • methinks the blond supports the republicans

  • Australia will never have a Tea Party group because Australians are too reliant on government.

When John Howard came into office in 1996 he made some cuts to the public service and people protested. Its hard to reduce government especially when trade unionists are so good at rhetoric with thier ''government is the solution to all problems ''nonsense.

The tea party also doesnt want REAL cuts to the size of government, when polled many tea party people were opposed to cutting defence.
