@1968johnnyboy good observation, usga decision 20-2a/2 says illegal to spin the ball.

this was a good and accurate discription of how to take relief from the path BUT NEAR THE END OF THE VIDEO he says as you drop from shoulder height with arm outstreatched you can spin or rotate the ball as you drop....that is completely false. you may not imply any spin or rotation onto the golf ball. you must drop it "fairly" and without playing it closer to the hole...
