There are books on playing cards that you can buy that will give meanings. I prefer cards with images that may be interpreted - so I do Tarot videos rather than playing cards. I made a suggestion or two in other places in reply to your question about telling the lady when the letter will arrive from the lawyer with her money.

When you get pages, kings, queens or knights then you dont have to add. imagine for example the empress and the page of wands. That would mean 3 weaks. But, thats just a way, and as you said, time's too relative.I like your ethic about tarot, you think the same way I do. I mean, its meant to help people, and not making it worse. Little things saying "you need courage" instead of "there's no way" its a lot more helpfull.

There's a way that often works very well for me. you split the deck in minor and major. Then you pick a card from majors and another from minors. Imagine you pick the pope and the 2 of wands. Wands means weaks, so you know its a matter of weaks. The pope is number 5, so its going to take at least 5 weaks. You add 2 to five and you get 7, the maximum time. 5 to 7 weaks than, thats the answer.

I have learned more from your videos than I could have imagined. I have bought maybe 30 tarot books but they are so elusive in their meanings. You make it so easy to apply the cards to just everyday living and situations.

This video set is really insightful. I hadn't thought of doing card numbers as dates/periods of time. I haven't done a time reading yet, but I divide the cards into times using zodiac/astrology symbols within the major arcana and the seasons of the minor arcana. i.e. "When will I meet so and so?" "Ace of cups, beginning of spring"
