Modern civilisation will not survive. Humanity might. If there ever comes a time when the forces of influence become the ones of awakening.
You are loved.

@BrokenGlassPuppet earh song by michael jackson

whats the title of the song in the background? Is the music part of another song or was it especially made for this video?
-
yes, Im sorry

Kipling's "IF", like all poetry & song lyrics, consists of a serious of naked assertions which can NEVER be proven. (Poetic truth is truth of a "self" rather than a 'thinker'.)
Do you suggest exclusion from 'legitimate' or 'permissible' human experience for that reason?
An existence without poetry/love songs would be MUCH more heartlessly VICIOUS than the one we have now.
I would argue that such an 'existence' could not even legitimately be called "human" AT ALL.

Don't have to quote the Bible. That's merely for completeness.
Never heard of J. Krishnamurti, have you?
In the Eastern esoteric traditions, there is a differentiation between the non-dualistic "observing consciousness" and the dualistic, phenomenal consciousness, referred to as "illusion" or "maya": the consciousness of the "self" and the 'thinker'.
This is referred to in the monotheistic Revelations as the 'fallen' consciousness.
The scientific perspective is INCOMPLETE.

@4Q529 Again, quoting a 2000+ year old book does not constitute as evidence and definitely does not provide any means to attaining knowledge as you seem to be claiming it to be able to do. Again, I say that the bible is full of fallacies- such as the fact it says that "rabbits chew the cud" which is wrong and that the value of pi is 3, even though other cultures (Greek, Roman etc) had already worked it out to greater precision and accuracy.

There are those who would say precisely the SAME thing about religion.
Religion and science are *both* of the "tree of the knowledge of good and evil" since they originate in human thought, the purpose of which is to preserve that "self".
Revelation is not human thought.
"As high as the heavens are above the earth are My thoughts above your thoughts, My ways above your ways."
From somewhere in the Book of Isaiah.

The argument is called the "hall of mirrors".
NO ONE wants to be responsible.
EVERYONE pointing to someone ELSE as the one who is guilty.
It is *always* the OTHER that is evil.
That is HOW we got here: the origin of THAT duality; the "tree of the knowledge of good and evil"--the "self"--originating in the 'movement' of self-reflection (the "great dragon, the primeval serpent, known as the devil or Satan, who had deceived ALL the world"--Revelations 12:9)

Furthermore, without the scientific method we would all be living in squalid conditions and, arguably, we may not even be alive today without the wonders of science through medicine, technology, well-being etc. Science has given humanity so much more "good" than anything else to date.
-
@4Q529 True the knowledge gained from scientific research can be used for killing others- but this is not a good evidence of the scientific method being "bad", as it is the fault of those who wield the weapons not the scientists who may have indirectly/directly designed them.
and , no this fake "civilization" does'nt deserve to survive, and yes the big dark secrete is that everyone deep down wants to go back out there. "die" if you will.

@caessarion I think you may strike a chord with that.

Wow this is terribly bad. You say the idea of the resurrection was taken from egyptian magicians by muslims, and that mohammad taughts 'something else'? Thanks for showing how little you know about islamic theology.

Haha what a dumb video, if nobody cared about the truth then there would be no feud between religions. The writer speaks as if everyone believes in one truth, and chooses to ignore this, but this is grossly wrong. And the reason there are multiple religions, because people are in a search for truth, and cannot agree on what THE truth actually is.
Clearly the author lacks deductive reasoning, and relies on inductive reasoning, which is extremely subjective.

@207512386 Don't you just love it when someone COMPLETELY misses the point and then proceeds to elaborate just how fucking thick he really is by using language that doesn't even parse? Priceless!
