Excelsius is the brand. I was told it is the same as Cordoba, but I am not sure about it, I played one Cordoba once in Guitar Center in Pittsburgh, and my Excelsius is way better!

Bass kind, I have no idea. Anyone can tell me? I wonder about that too since I got the bass. The secret of the sound are the 23(! No joke!) years old strings!
