Former Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld discusses the impact of "The Generals' Revolt," when eight generals called for his resignation in 2006
in an interview on David Webb's American Forum on SiriusXM Patriot. "My view is you retire-- you serve your country; you retire; you can say what you want. And it didn't bother me that eight people out of thousands decided to do that. There were more than that on the other side who stood up and said they were wrong....that's life," says Secretary Rumsfeld. "I never expected unanimity in tough decisions. You take on a tough job, you make tough decisions, and you've got to assume there are going to be people who don't agree with those decisions. And I accept that."
