A lot of people seem to have trouble dealing with Terra's DM, even after seeing others do it. The truth is, all you have to do is practice a method of dodging it and it'll come naturally. Of course, some methods work better than others for people. So this video will show you numerous ways of dodging each part of the DM, and then show you ways of surviving if you get hit during the DM, because if you don't act fast you either WILL die or go to 1 HP.
Anyway, here's a section to further explain the methods in the video if you're not one of those visual types of people:
Part 1: Gliding this is actually the safest method. It works 100% of the time if you do it even somewhat accurate. The key is to stay close and wait for him to start charging at you, then jump + Aerial Dodge + Glide away from him and he'll miss you. If you glide too far away he'll teleport right next to you and most likely get you. Guarding it is second best, but make sure you time the guards right, and occasionally he has a about a 5% chance of getting behind you during guarding and hitting you, though it's rare. Reflega works too if you don't mind losing the MP or know how to time it right.
Part 2: Again, gliding this is the safest and smartest way to get away from this move. However, don't keep gliding from Part 1. While that works MOST of the time, there's a slim chance he'll teleport too close to you while gliding and snag you and then you'll be hit by the entire thing. After part 1 ends, drop down to the ground and then jump back up, Aerial Dodge, and as soon as you hear him teleport, Glide away. I really would not suggest the Quick Run method, it's very difficult to time 100% of the time. Reflega works if you have 3-4 Combo Pluses equipped.
Part 3: This time, don't Glide, or you'll be at 1 HP after. Guarding is the best method. The safest guarding method is putting your back to the wall. Why? Because Terra sometimes teleports behind you, and unless you target him in time you'll get hit by the entire rest of the DM. The other trick to Guarding method is to decide what parts you want to block. Mashing guard furiously is not going to work out all the time. You have about a 1 second after affect of guard where you won't get hit, use that to time your guards carefully. The Reflega method works fine too if you're that scared of it. The Dodge Roll method takes a little practice to time, but I have more fun doing it that way.
Using a Limit is fine too if it's long enough, but keep in mind the partner has to be alive and you have to have MP at the right time, so unless you plan it out perfectly, I wouldn't rely on it too much. IMO, it's actually more difficult to do things like keep Donald alive for more than 5 seconds.
Keep in mind you can mix and match methods for each part to put together your own preferred method of dodging the DM. These are all the ones I could come up with. They are all no-damage types. So things like "Well you could parry the first part with Valor Form and hope for the best" doesn't really fly. But there are other ways you can dodge the DM that I didn't show. Also keep in mind some of the methods of getting out of being hit during the DM require abilities like Leaf Bracer or Aerial Recovery.
Thank you for making me rediscover a great OC Remix.

It's not an OC Remix, it's Kong in Concert.

And wasn't Kong in Concert an OC Remix project?

Not sure, but none of the songs I have are labeled as an OC Remix, so idk.
