I wrote a letter to Radio Moscow in the 80's asking for a USSR/CCCP football t-shirt. They sent me a little flag of the radio station "Radio MOCKBA-CCCP". It's not the same, but it's a bit funny

Wow, I remember Samatha now, I was the same age as her and she spoke for a lot of kids at that time - tensions were running high between the West and the Soviets and us kids definitely picked up on that - and worried about it! It was very sad that she died so young, it's such a shame. Aside from that, it's awful that some idiot conspiracy theorists see fit to insult this poor kid's life and memory by indulging their paranoid fantasies on this thread. Shame on you.

[Part 3] basically what im saying is this little girl is loved/admired not only by americans, but by people from other nationalities as well... if only all of the world leaders had wanted, what this little girl wanted, "no war" the world would be a better place today...

[Part 2] i was born in ukraine in 1988, but grew up un america, and ive been doing alot of reading on the cold war history lately and i read about this girl, she brought hope to america-ussr relations, i was truly inspired by what she has done for these two countries, she really made things better for all of us. and when i learned her fate about the plane crash and that she died, i had tears in my eyes... this little girl is one of my heros now..
