Concerning the class action suit in regards to overdraft fee practices held by BofA. They post the transactions from biggest to smallest to assess more fees. This is called THEFT. Let's do something about this and shut this greedy corporation down!

  • Most all the big banks will do this, my local bank (theres only 15 branches) even does this, it is very clearly written in the depositors agreement, which of course no one ever reads. Online banking, calling the reps and balance inquires are not 100%. You need to keep track of what is going on in your account. Use a check register, don't just do it in your head. To put it another way, the bank is not going to watch your account for you like your mother would.

  • Ahem! You have $65.28 to your name, and you're buying Starbucks coffee and Netflix? I'm glad to see you have your priorities straight! And it's too bad you didn't spend HALF as much time managing your finances as you do telling the world that you are irresponsible, & practically bragging that you bounce checks (Would a person brag that he has smelly feet, for instance?). Some people simply cannot be trusted with checking accounts, and you are clearly one of them, Lateesha!

  • They will remove one overdraft fee per year

  • damn girl

    I'm sorry

    :(

    I swear rich bastards

    keep stealing from hardworking people

where's Robin Hood when we need him the most??

    (-_-,)

  • @25mtcowboy You know shit what you're talking about lol. I've got lots of people I'm acquainted to who have filed complaints against BofA and won! Contract terms are rejected before law if they're considered as being abusive.

  • @devilndeepbluesea If you put your name down saying that you've read and understand and agree to the depositers agreement, then yes, it is your own fault. That goes for anything, whether it be a home loan or a bank account. Read everything before you sign. I do, even the fine print.

  • @25mtcowboy And that makes it right? You're a mouth piece for what is wrong in this country. SA spineless one at that.

  • to add something... i am sure you were charged for that transfer from the random account you mentioned and you were never told. also any time you walk in the bank center itself and use a teller for anything there is a charge. neat huh?

  • You know the piece of paper they make you sign when opening your account? That says that "i read the depositers agreement and understand it" In the depositers agreement (which I can just bet you've never read) it says how transactions are processed. It says greatest to the least. All it takes is a little reading on your part and this can be avoided.

  • You should make a complaint in writting to Banking Department of state you are in ( which can be found on web) as they are one who regulate the banks and I am sure that they will refund you all.

When ever you want to make a complaint make to regulators, beacuse they know all very well and can not afford to mess with them.

    Best regards

    hapza
