I was just thinking exacty the same thing. It is LOL inappropriate! Also, Fern Britton referring to 'old people' and 'old people' home'! The PC brigade would make a field day of that!

so sad about shanklin pier,,i spent hours crab fishing off the end of pier with a really cheap crab line which cost about a pound on a shop in shanklin

I remember the morning after the storm, I was 6 and this huge oak tree had been uprooted and blocked the path that I took to go to school. Then the news got out that the school was shut anyway. Great seeing TVS stuff as I moved away from Sussex only a year later.
