Outlett ~ Invincible aka BUGS ANTHEM

The LA-based hard rock band, Outlett, has officially started to explode. Especially, with the release of their latest music video for their single Invincible. Invincible, was originally made famous by the one and only Pat Benetar, but Outlett has definitely plugged in their own rocking version of this hit song. Directed and produced by Katheryne KTEE Thomas and Mark Larranga from Relentless Vision, Invincible shows that Outlett is a force to be reckoned with.

Front woman "Chastity Ashley" Born and raised in Northeast Los Angeles, Chastity began pursuing her passion for music, writing, acting and modeling at the tender age of 8. Crowned Miss Junior America when she was 10 years old, leading the talent section by playing percussion on her first drum set, Chastity knew her true passion was for music.

At the age of 15, she made the final cut as house drummer for the Keenan Ivory Wayans show and went on to pursue her music at the elite Hollywood's Musicians Institute, where she studied under the PIT Program (Percussion Institute) studying under Ray Luzier (Korn).

Chastity has performed with some of music's elite including: Leon Mobley, Hole, Kelly Osbourne, Tom Morello, Alice in Chains, Ben Harper, Filter, Cypress Hill, Perry Ferrell and Tierra.

Her original band project Beauty in the Breakdown (formally Outlett), where she serves as front woman and djembe/percussion player, has won "Performer of the Year" and "Rock Artist of the Year" at the world renowned LA Music Awards. The heavy hitting rock band also performed on the Vans Warped Tour, was chosen as Music Connection Magazine's "100 Best Unsigned Bands" and opened for the Motley Crue/ Aerosmith Tour.

2012 is shaping up to be a huge year for Chastity with the release of a new EP and most recently being taken on as the percussionist for the megagroup Duran Duran, which included playing the Main Stage at Coachella 2011

I was in a band called Outlet in the late 90's,I hated that name,it was like a drink of water to me,bland and boring.The two T's make it better and so does a hot frontwoman,still not hip to it though.We went round and round about a name,the other guys agreed on Outlet and I caved.Never liked it though.
