Hi @XJdcheckX, people who had went through LASIK can still apply to join the RSAF and we will send them for a medical review by the aeromedical doctor to ascertain if they are suitable for the vocation they are applying for. Hope this answers your question. :)

@azrazulaikha - You may have missed our cyberpioneer story featuring LTC Zakir Hamid (currently Commanding Officer 112 Squadron) and his experience as detachment commander in the Gulf back in 2008. Can't post a link here but if you go to the MINDEF website, do a search on Zakir Hamid and you'll see the story in the search results :)
