Iraq War Drive-In Movie Theatre

Part of a series of videos projected onto buildings at street intersections in Providence and Boston in November and December, 2007.

Each video has a looping section (which here repeats once) and an ending section. When the project was projected at stoplight intersections, the looping section played during the red light at an intersection, and the ending part during the greenlight. Videos were cued by live VJ.

The goal was to create a kind of drive-in movie theater for American automobile spaces. Projections took place outside Prudential Center in Boston and the RISD Library in Providence.
