I got this exact case when I bought my 24.4.2 and the first week the main handle (orange one) just fell off!!! This case is JUNK! I have never had this experience with a Gator case before but this is my last.

Buy the custom Chase Case from Sweetwater. I don't understand all these people who won't shell out a little bit of money to protect their investments. Not to mention that the ability to use the mixer without removing from the case is a feature worth the extra dough.
Don't be cheap. If you have a 24 channel studio live you are obviously not poor.

the case works good for what I need it for. When I start doing more than 1 job a month and packing the mixer in something other than the back of my car I will get a case that costs 3 times as much - for now the weight and size are exactly what I need.

@psychobabblejuice that's a great price. The more I use the case the more I like it - it makes getting the SL around really easy

I have a gator guitar stand that I really like. SKB doesn't have a case for the 24 yet but they have a couple solutions for the 16 (standard rack mount) and the 16.0.2 waterproof case is really cool.
