Fantavision - Stage 4

Here's stage 4 of the US Fantavision. I got one good chain going, but broke it by pre-maturely detonating at 127... d'oh.

Plus one small Starmine that could have been extended... but meh. I also like space stages because Bonus Points cause your explosions to swirl while it is in effect.

Concerning the comments on the music.

The music is different in the PAL and Japan Versions. The Music for the US was "localized"

I should know since I made the music for the US one :)

There was never a soundtrack release for the US version, but there are some MP3s floating about the 'net.

Just a thing for fans reading, I tried to time the music accents to what was happening in the background like a score.

I have to say that the music during the various stages in this game in enthralling. Honestly, the music compliments the stage. Stage 3 was one of the best if you ask me.

I had thought that the US Fantavision songs were recorded for a soundtrack, but I had no idea they were not released. I have to ask, do the US songs have names or were they just left arbitrary?

I did a .torent search on the soundtrack. I was lucky enough to find it and downloaded the original soundtrack. The problem is the Japanese version has very different music than the English version. So, I have no idea if they made a soundtrack for the English songs... :(

You are correct. the JP or PAL Sountrack can be found, but I have no idea about the US one.

I especially want that third level's music as that is epic.

When I first played Fantavision, never did I imagine I would look back on it with such nostalgia.

This has to be the most beautiful game I've ever played.

The JP soundtrack remind me of elevator music, for some reason. It's good, but it doesn't compliment each or immerse you as much as the US version.

wow!! I enjoyed all the music especially stage 1, multiplayer stage, and of course the Starmine.

Arbitrary. Stage 1... stage 2... etc. I started toying with names, but never stuck with anything. The whole score was composed in 12 days. So I had little time to think of anything else.

I believe the Japanese and English scores were both released as soundtrack CDs. The US one stayed solely ingame.

I liked Stage 3 as well :) And stage 6 I think. Stage 4 is neat if you watch the background and listen, without getting starmines.
