Gran Turismo 3 vs Burnout Revenge

A (not too fair) comparison between GT3 and burnout. I know it's an old gen console vs new gen so there's a huge difference in quality, but the question I'd like to rise is which has more fans? They're both terrific games and both have there ups and downs. (customizations, realism vs. speed, crashing etc.) so leave a bunch of comments ;)

let me get the strait.... your comparing a qualifyed simulator (gt3) to the hgh speed adrenaline racing of an arcade racer (burnout). now if i may ask why and how is that fair???

@jedixo sure. but first you have to explain what is unfair against what for what reason. Unless you already have a bias point of view, you should realize that this IS fair. People who enjoy great driving sims will see this and say "yuck, burnout wtf?" People who like the adrenalin booster non-realistic arcade racer will see GT and go "yuck, GT wtf?" It's really just a matter of preference. Just because YOU like it one way doesn't mean it's not fair to the other.

no no. i have nothing againsst either game i love them both. i just dont see the point in comparing 2 different types of racing games, one is ment to be fast and one is ment to be reaslitic. unless this is about graphics which in this case without gt4 burnout would win

I was doing research at the time to see if people went for speed or realism, that's all.

GT3 did/does have music, dunno what you're listening too...

No it's not driving slowly, it's prespective because theirs nothing in the BG to compare how fast its going in GT3 as opposed to burn out you drive past tables and chairs and buildings that give you a closer prospective.

lastly, about everything you said, that's just how the games are, I mean if I could choose a scene with explosions and rock music for GT3, I would love to. if you were being sarcastic, epic fail, if not, you're dumb.

You can't really compare them. Gran Turismo is car simulation while Burnout is more arcadey.
