Aida Otieno is a Kenyan teacher who started her own school after being made redundant. Now she fears that her school might have to shut down.

Given the economic downturn, with earnings from Kenya's exports and tourism dropping, many parents are finding it hard to pay the tution fees for their children.

Otieno tells her story to Al Jazeera.
