We are heading to Alaska and the Arctic Circle in mid-June 2010. Follow Rudi's ride at this blog:

My friend, Rudi Ganakas, had prepared for an Alaskan motorcycle trip on his BMW R1150 GS with two friends. Both friends then required shoulder surgery ending those plans. Rudi was left with his motorcycle, Alaskan DVD's and books, frustration, and perhaps too much beer. I provided the Alaskan video, while Rudi provided the fantasy. This is satire, folks.

After watching this video I realize we could have saved a lot of money on hotels and gas; and a lot of wear and tear on the bikes. This video is a must see for anyone planning an Alaskan Bike trip! Good Job!
