Creek Dredging Trip

The place we wanted to go was flooded so we tried somewhere else. Had a lot of fun but a huge storm rolled in just as we broke down to bedrock so we had to evacuate.

I've heard of people taking some gold out of there but its pretty hard to get into a good spot. Did DEQ change the opening date for that area?

They did some early opening for memorial day weekend I heard, but I missed it.

Saw it. :) It's SOOOO much fun! I don't know why it's so much better than filling buckets with a shovel, but I had a kick ass time out there. Glad you're enjoying it!

my gosh guy i liked this video so much i added it to my favorites , you had me glued and rolling at the same time, awesome effects too. must see more from you soon..ok?! p.s. oh yah, put a floating matt down your sluice from the jet area forward, you will pick up a lot more gold that way. chances are you lost a lot floating out? sorry to say.

It takes a little time to find the gold. If it were easy everyone would do it. I have a triple 5 keene and my first dredge was a 3 inch highbanker combo. I am currently rebuilding it to make it lighter and more versital. I wouldn't recommend a combo to anyone who doesn't highback much. Like the video. Boy those glass bottles sure make the gold look impressive.
