Forever and Always: Chapter 12.




I didn't really know what to think. Why did they change it? Why were they even singing it? I mean...it.. he wrote it for me.... I thought that it was my song. I felt tears burn at my eyes. But I willed them away. I wasn't going to cry. I wasn't. I refuse to cry about this anymore. It's been too long. I took a breath and let it out. Next to me, Melany was freaking out. Actually, everyone around me was pretty much freaking out. The rest of the sound check, which consisted of a few more songs, a little bit of questions and answers from the boys, and a small game they played with a few lucky fans. The actual concert didn't start until 8, and it was now 7 as the boys and everyone else started to disappear from the stage. Melany let out a big sigh.
"That was AH- FREAKING- MAZING!"
I smiled. "It was something."
"Something?" She scoffed. "It was freaking HEAVEN. Like. Freaking. HEAVEN. I can NOT wait for the actual concert!"
I laughed. "Can...we, like, go get food or something?"
My sister pursed her lips. "Well...I.. I think so. As long as we have our passes I think. As long as we don't leave the venue we should be fine."
I nodded and stood up. "Okay. Let's see if there is pretzels around or something."
"Okay."
We picked up our things and walked out through the doors again. We walked down the hall together. I could see out the large glass at the entry way. The line out there was huge. I was amazed.
"Oh!" Melany grabbed my arm and pulled me off to the side. There was a counter with things like water, red bull, chips, and things. "Yes. Food," she laughed.
I laughed too and walked over to the counter. It was only a few minutes in line. Melany and I both got a water and a bag of chips. After paying, I spun around. I bumped into someone and dropped the bag. He caught it then grinned at me under his baseball cap.
"Thanks," I muttered. Those eyes....
"You're welcome," he nodded and handed it back. Then he continued to walk down the hall. I watched his retreating form until it disapeared. I let out a breath.
"oh, my GOD." Melany whispered next to me. "Haley...tha...that was Joe Jonas!!"
"I know...." I muttered back. I forced back tears. He didn't regonize me.

"Joseph?" Haley spoke softly. She kept her eyes closed as she rested on her boy friend's chest.
"Hm?" She figured his eyes were closed, too. His slow, smooth breathing calmed her and made her eyes droopy.
"Promise to never forget me..."
He lifted her hand off his chest and kissed it tenderly. "I promise, my darling, never to forget you.... ever. I'll love you forever..."
"....and always."

Awe, the whole song thing is kind of sad. :(

I bet he didn't forget her! He probably didn't want to say anything because of all the people! Jeez, Haley.

That ended did almost make me cry though....
