The Orthodox and Roman Catholic DO NOT pray to the Theotokos (Mother of God) in the sense that you are assuming. They are asking for her mighty intercessions and help. The Orthodox and the Roman Catholic do not believe that the Holy Mother forgives sin nor that by "praying" to her that a person's spirit is saved.

It would be, but unfortunately unlikely.

"I am the way, the truth and the life, no man comes unto the Father except through Me.".

So going from that, the term Christian for instance, shouldn't be applied to Catholics. Or anyone who prays to Mary instead of Jesus. Unless someone has a different Bible, in which case it's even more likely of not happening. More's the pity

@OrthodoxLion So, all religions are different in external (architecture, inside of church - some use icons, some use statues, the way people pray). There is one truth - always everyone will think that only his religion (one of thouthands) is correct. Just lets stop and see wider the world... the world made by God.
