The 88 game was a great game between two really great teams. How anyone can say that Miami wasn't robbed of that win is amazing. The ref who made the famous fumble call admitted that he was wrong. What more do you want?

what excuses did the have for the 90' loss in south bend? face it notre dame was better in 88' get over it. and whoever that deuche is talking about the arrogance of notre dame doesnt know his own team very well. just look at the audacity of miami pre fiesta bowl 87' against penn st. no body was more truculent then those thugs. what about the other 5 turn-overs in 88' were their knees down on all of those too?

these Miami announcers are just like the team...all bullshit. If Miami hadnt kept these thugs out of prison they wouldnt have had anyone to fill a roster. I was at 3 consecutive Nd- Miami games at the Orange Bowl...and yes...ND lost all of them, I have no excuse for that. The Miami fans were as ignorant as the team...they were perfect for each other.
