Before Cobain, Joplin even Lennon there was no artist more inspiring no music and lyrics more revolutionary then Ian and joy division. Haunting.

What is Joy Division? Why are they so important for me and for so many people? I really dont know but the truth is not only Ian Curtis but all the members of the band were great performers. Tony Wilson, Martin Hannett, Deborah Curtis, etc and all this peope we've seen in the movies were also important for what is Joy Division these days. Not to mention the fans (I feel included although i was born in 82). I hope I will still listen to this music in my 70s. KEEP JOY DIVISION ALIVE!!!!

@cman7142000 hmmmmmm not sure about this one, in debbies book its 'lucky prize' on live recordings sounds like lucky prize, on closer its too hard to tell his voice sems to falter on those two words !!!! surely lucky prize on live recordings before closer, 50 -50 on closer, im surprised no one in the studio noticed the unclearness of those two words
