Bought one of these cards (generic, single slot but looks like the one he has) from Geeks.com for $40! A BIG improvement over my 7950GT. Personally I think the 7950GT might have had slightly better 2D (maybe just my imagingation) but the 4850 has far better 3d performance. Even with an old athlon 64 my framerates are much improved and I can run more AA (4x) and AF (4x) than I could before, plus adaptive AA. Image quality in 3d games is also much better.

The 4850 runs a bit faster than a 6770 and pretty close to a 6790, and at $50?? i'd buy a 4850 anyday over those others, the 4850 is 256 bit, unlike the 6770, though the 4850 is dx 10.1 i dont care, just as long as it runs my games good :D

@RandomXUsr Water cooling? Lmao. The 4850 is cheaper than the GTX 260 and runs at about the same temp. It's also about the same speed. And Both are outdated.

This guy is a tool. I'm betting that the card can be downclocked for those who want it a bit cooler. Also, this card should be used with water cooling IMHO. This card doesn't impress me compared to my GTX 260

cant beleive he said it runs really cool lol my single slot HD4850 run really hot and when i had not cleaned all the dust out of it in game it used to go over 100oC
