@xXxchunkz77xXx was Polaris first shot at a non trailing arm sled, got more negative press than normal due to the anticpated expectations, the 900 was a reliable motor once the updates and modifications were done, the 2006 seen some big improvements....Ski Doo 600 ETEC was burning out pistons when it first debuted, no one really heard of that.

Cans make small amount of power due to less exhaust restriction, but the biggest reason for a can is weight savings and heat reduction. The 900 RMK and Fusion share the same chassis and motor, plastic is different...the Fusion is a reliabe machine, the motor was discontinued because it was not going to work in the next generation of sleds, it is one of the highest torque two strokes to ever be made....
