I have a question too, here you are fiddling with the automation to cleanup the vocals and your making sure that lower parts too are heard. There's another option to do that of the waveform itself. I just dont know that option but if you can show it would be amazing. What you can do is cut all the vocal parts as you did and the parts which are sounding low Theres this option to select the region on the top of that track pull it down and up and the waveform volume increases and decreases.

Question, when I record vocals every now and then the recording volume fades out at random and I was wondering if there's something I might be doing wrong or something. Is there some setting I'm not aware of? I've checked the connection of the Mic which I'm using straight through the phantom power of the Fast Track M-Audio interface. It doesn't do this often, but every now and then and I want to resolve it before I start recording OTHER people. Wanna be ready to start and go.
