Teachers AND parents suck! Our education system is fucked, and the way parents raise their kids is fucked. I think parents suck more though, since they have them for the longest time. You can't always expect a teacher to swoop in and fix your child's problems considering they have only one class a day with them. That being said, if teachers did a better job overall and didn't teach for a fucking test they'd have a better chance.

What she's referring to (unless you were being sarcastic) is that teachers can choose to take their pay over the school year (10 months) or the entire year. 26 vs 21 pay periods.
