Love this song, love this video, love watching Bono having a great time, love hearing the crowd sing along. U2 is having a party and everyone is invited to come along, no one is left out. This is one of the greatest things about U2!
I agree. Bono was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize 3 times. That's pretty amazing. People who deride him for his activism have no idea what they're talking about.
If you don't like his music or his singing, fine. Totally understandable. But to downplay his role in bettering the lives of desperate people living in third word countries, you must be, simply, uninformed. Just ask Jeffrey Sachs. Google him, people, we'll wait.
