SDLMame running on PS3

This is SDLMame running Marvel SuperHeroes vs. Street Fighter in full (non smoothed) 1080p at full speed on YellowDog Linux 6.0. It just goes to show what the Playstation's capable of.

How have you got it running so smooth... just installed latest version 0130 and atuo skips all over the place.

Go to the PS3bodega forums and learn the double scaling trick... you actually upscale it, so it looks exactly the same using half the ramm

I use a wired conncection so it automatically picks it up.

If you use wireless, then I honestly have no idea, because I've never tried it.

One idea, though, is to use a USB drive to transfer the GZ (install) file for SDLMame from your computer to your PS3, and then just install it from there. You can transfer roms the same way.

i have the same problem i have a dvd that came with mame, snes, genesis, jaguar, nes, regular atari.

All the roms for every system and all the emulators just dont know how to install can you show me???

The selected game is missing one or more required ROM or CHD images, please select a different game.

I have YDL 6.1 installed... i went into the add/remove programs.. i did a search and it came up with sdlmame 1.24.. so i installed it (a dbr file or something).. and i have no idea which directory its in.. and no way of knowing how to execute it.. any ideas?

ooooooooooo im gonna try that....... back to the internet i put the wire but nothing happens when im in linux nothing happens but when im using th ps3 normal i can use the internet so i don't know is like i have to configure the conection in linux??? and if so u know how
