Sony HDR-CX100 test skydives

A few jumps from Skydive Arizona's (Eloy) Freefly money meet was captured with Sony's latest AVCHD camcorder. A standard def .3x lens was used during most of the jumps since the closeness of the subject and I did not have access to a .3 high def lens at the time. There are a few .5x HD lens scenes. Thanks go out to Cynthia Currie and Steve Curtis for some great video. All jumps used the HYPEYE D PRO from Hypoxic for control

Got the same camcorder, but got trouble with fluttering footage:
1. Did you switch the (digital) video stab on or off?
2. Is the cam top or side mounted?
3. What kind of helmet do you have? Do you use a chinstrap?
4. Any special training for your neck muscles :-) ?

3) I think at that time it was either a cookie mxv or a flat top pro. And yes

Q: at 2:35 it looks like you changed the settings, did you change it to HD:FH?
It just looks heaps smoother. Great taj by the way.

I posted in the thread at dropzone about not finding any footage from this camera.. But the problem was i searched for CX105 in stead of just CX100 which it is called in the US.. Have you had any issues with jumpy and "ghosty" footage shooting FF? i think im going for this camera in stead of the Tg1!

Nope the ghostly footage was from the CX7's optical stabilization unit
