michael romeo never wrote a bad song. as for Yngwie, need i remind of Liar & Queen in Love (to name but a few).Of course Romeo is better, he came after, therefore all he had to do was improve what had already been established. Why do you think Yngwie was so much better than Blackmore. its a matter of evolution not opinion. So all you hendrix fans, go play your droll pentatonics over your recycled chord progressions on your lame strats and spare us the broken record cliches.

Romeo is as fast as Malmsteen is but Romeo has more tecniques and all his songs are excellent, Malmsteen never changed his style and there was a time when he was the best but he never try to improve.. Romeo did it and i think that malmsteen music nowadays is not competicion with the Romeo's songs..

These two are extremely hard to compare, i can honestly say I that i am unsure as to who is a better guitarist/musician/songwriter. Bother are just incredible. Malmsteen has a style and a precise sound that i've never heard anyone really replicate with his controlled vibrato. his songs are ingeniously written with many modes and scales. Romeo... however does much the same thing. I honestly can't decide between the two. They're both great, two of my favourites of all time. Its a draw imho
