  • @LOST666DUDE

Mexicans are warriors, but that doesn't change the fact that Duran is better than Chavez.

    In my opinion anyway.

  • @524pmdnyc De-hydration from strenuos dieting is far worse & very dangerous..you are quite right.

This is very true ( his dad was Mexican), but culturally, he is more Panamanian and identifies with that country a lot more. If I remember correctly, Duran didn't held a lot of Mexican fighters in disdain due to the perceived superiority he felt many Mexicans had in terms of their boxing skills. In 'Hands Of Stone' there were a few incidents of intense patriotism concerning him and Mexican fighters, Pipino Cuevas was one of these. But he had some early intense feuds also.

  • @2pacinseattle dont forget Duran is Half Mexican. However you want to define that. Mexican is just a nationality as is being Panamanian. In fact the only difference between the 2 is that Panama has had more African blood influence, but with out borders they are the same people. I believe it was Durans father that is Mexican. To call Duran a non-Mexican would be incorrect. He is as much Mexican as he is Panamanian.

  • ESTAS SI ERAN PELEAS

  • Chaves and Duran are both bad mother fuckers
