Mother Anica Alexe was born in the village of Sageata, District of Sageata, County of Buzau, on 13 November 1921, of parents: Simon Dumitrache and Gherghina Dobre, who were blessed by God with 3 daughters: Nastea, Anica and Ioana.
Anica received as general education only 4 primary classes in her native village, Sageata. The Father, Simion Dumitrache passed away when Anica was a small child, therefore, Anica, together with her 2 sisters, had lived a very difficult life, helping along their mother Gherghina, working on the farm.
When she was 18 years, Mother Anica met a young man from the village of Dâmbroca (a village of some 3 km away from her village) named ENACHE ALEXE, who on a Sunday afternoon, attended with some young dâmbrocani villagers, a Sageata hora, in the hope of finding himself the other half (re: his wife).
Through the Holy Matrimony, ENACHE & ANICA ALEXE were blessed with 4 children: Paulina (born in 1947), Constantin (1951), Ioana-Gina (1954) and Maria-Mia (1957).
In Romania, for more than 40 years, ENACHE & ANICA ALEXE lived a very difficult life, initially working on their own farm, then when the communists sized power in Romania, and their farm was abusively sized their property Enache had to work in various factories in Buzau, while ANICA raised her children at home. In 1987 ENACHE retired, and, in 1988, at the invitation of their older children, Paulina, and priest Constantin, who settled in America, since 1980, Enache and Anica Alexe, finally arrived in the United States, settling in Los Angeles with Paulinas family, where they lived until the moment they were called home (in heaven) by God.
After the death of her husband ENACHE, mother ANICA continued to live her life in the bosom of the family of her older daughter Paulina and Constantin Ciocan, who cared for her with all the love and affections they bestowed to Anicas husband, ENACHE, during his live in the USA.
Since 2001, after the death of her husband ENACHE, mother ANICA, lived for one reason alone, which ultimately the Lord fulfilled to officiate all the traditional remembrances, customary to the Orthodox faithful, until the 7 years memorials completion.
Mother Anica is survived (in order to fulfill all the traditional remembrances (as mother Anica fulfilled for her husband for the customary 7 years memorials), by members of the sorrowful families: older daughter Paulina and Constantin Ciocan (with Adrian and wife Nuţi Ciocan, from Romania), Liliana, and Ahmad (with great-grandchildren Daniel and Razvan Tasneem); Priest & Preoteasa Constantin and Elena (with grandchildren Cristian, Marius, Gabriela-Amy & husband Michael, Anne-Claudia Alecse); Ioana-Gina and husband Gabriel Ploscaru, with grandchildren Dana and Nicoleta (middle daughter, son-in-law and niece, respectively); and Maria-Mia & Gigel Stanciu (youngest daughter and son-in-low); Marita Ion Alexe family (with her children and grandchildren, brother-in-law, brother and descendants of younger brother of Enache, Costica Ion Alexe); the younger sister Ioana & her family (the deceaseds grandchildren (Marcel and Pusa, from her younger sister), and other blood relatives, and by alliance, friends and acquaintances in Dâmbroca, Sageata and Beilic (Buzau County, Bucharest ) and other localities in Romania, or wherever in Romania and outside Romania, they may live.
