The keys to Wing Chun really can be found in the first 2 lessons I showed you. Can you stand and does your punch have the power. In this episode I show you how to properly develop the punch motion so you'll have the power to unleash this baby when needed. I also show you the key errors that many do and how to avoid serious injury if you do the punch incorrectly.

  • Hi I Hope You'll Reply To My Post.. i just wanna ask . is it natural that my Elbows Pop when i stretch my punch? Thank you so much for making this videos i wish you'll respond to my question :)

  • @ripprince21 no, your motion is wrong if it pops... make sure you don't do that, you'll damage your elbow

  • ...(continued) must be facing forward? Because for example in boxing you have it facing sideways so its harder for your opponent to hit your body and your arm is closer to the opponent, i think that's their reasoning. Or is this just for now...? That's all. I said this before in another video but, again, thanks ALOT for the videos, you're very kind. I'm taking things slow in order to perfection them before moving on to the next step, but I still watch the videos to study the theory. :)

  • @ncdangale112 4) Basically you want to be square, and being turned doesn't make it harder for the opponent to hit you... hopefully that answered your questions

  • Hi, I had a few questions I was hoping you could answer if it isn't too much of a bother, cause they might be silly to you but I really want to know your point of view. 1) Is it good to warm up before starting Wing Chung? 2) On this particular case or ANY, should I practice with both hands and for how long? 3) Before punching does the arm and elbow have to be at the back or by the side of your body? 4) You explained this mentioning the shoulder but is there a reason why the body (continued)...

  • @ncdangale112 You can warm up, normally I use simple punch motions as my warm up, instead of your standard stretching and so forth. 2) always practice two sides, how long, depends on how much time you have available 3) Depends, but normally both in the center if your practicing punches

  • Have never really heard of wing chun before Trying to learn a thing or two about different fighting styles. If u have time, please answer this question, thanks in advance. Another "coach" on Youtube here says the proper wing chun punch is to not fully extend the elbow, to keep the energy from breaking ur arm essentially. Is his solely for "jabs", is he mistaken or are there different schools of thought in this respect?

  • @hgamer Yes, thank you.
