  • This is an older video so I do not know if you will even see this question, anyhow: I broke my left knee when I was 20 (now 34). I can only squat 275lb (max), but I know this is mostly do to the pain in my left knee (arthritis). I can not even do 1 one legged squat with my left leg. It sounds like to me that regardless of the arthritis in your knees you push through it and keep squatting heavy weights. Would you recommend I do the same (which is kind of what I am doing anyhow)?

  • my pain alleviated with slow controlled bodyweight movements. I do not recommend heavy weights if its painful. I did work through it, it did not help. Rest helped. take a little time off, but slowly work intelligent movements back into your program. Balance pulling and pushing, upper and lower, left and right... incorporate tons of TKE's (terminal knee extensions) and sled work into your daily routine as well as other rehabilitory movements. google search should provide these exercises.

  • How much was the clean and press?

  • 304 lbs

  • Yep, you need to start working out son, look at yourself, all flabby and weak.

    I'm lookin out 4 u bruddah!

    Dr. ZEE :)

  • acute arthritis pain = inflamed joints

work with inflamed joints = damage to your articular cartilage

when your joints are hurting the best is rest and ice. and controlled movements.

    definately not weight training.

  • wow, thats a tough workout! but when your doctor said go moderate on your knees I don't think he meant heavy squats past 90 degrees!

  • very good video, hopefully all your videos show apart from the trainer explains the proper technique for each exercise as you're really good at what you do .... greetings from Chile (South America)

  • Wow good job on the single leg squats nice video!

  • Haha you butchered your own last name... It's "veehleenskee".. roughly.
